The historical Francigena's route
The territory of Capannori has a characteristic hourglass shape, and the historical Via Francigena Route crosses it in its central and narrowest part for 5 kilometers.
In the center of Capannori, pilgrims can find Athena's Archeological Museum which hosts the Stamp Point.
From January 2017, in order to grant pilgrims the possibility to receive the stamp on their credential over wider time lapses, it is possible to get the stamp in some dedicated shops located on the historical track, nearby the museum.
On the historical track, it is to be highlighted the presence of the Pieve Preposturale di S.Quirico e Giulitta.
In the center of Capannori, along the Francigena Route, a Ospitale will be soon opened to host pilgrims.
