The Center is located at the Scientific Park of the Comune di Capannori, the hub of innovation and research where the circular economy is promoted across various fields, from material research to waste management.
The Zero Waste Research Center is a project led by the third sector, where expert volunteers analyze residual waste from household collection, identify the main types of waste that are not recycled, develop case studies, and promote best practices to foster reuse and recycling.
At the Zero Waste Research Center, visitors can meet experts, share knowledge and information about the Zero Waste strategy, and become part of a community committed to reducing environmental impact and adopting a more sustainable lifestyle.
The Center serves as a reference point for schools, citizens, and institutions, hosting meetings, training courses, and study visits.
