    History and architecture
The church is located in Lammari, next to the fraction of San Colombano, and it is famous for the annual pilgrimages of people afflicted by pertussis.
The church has a nave and a simple façade with a mullioned window and a lunette over the main entrance.

    Works of art
Inside the church we find a little earthenware bas-relief representing the Virgin with Child. This work cannot compete with the one in marble that the sculptor Matteo Civitali carved in the XV century and that is now showed in the Church of the Holy Trinity, in Lucca. Nonetheless, both had been considered to be miracolous and were worshipped by people afflicted by pertussis. The ill drank a spoon of water from the Caprino stream while the priest crossed two candles in front of their throats.

Some spoons used for drinking the "miraculous water" are still visible in the church.
